The Hair Removal program prepares the candidate for a career in electrolysis or as a laser hair removal technician. This profession is practiced in hair removal clinics and beauty salons. The candidate can also work independently.

As part of their practice, hair removal specialists inform their clients on different hair removal procedures and remove hair from the face, neck or body. Their job consists of improving someone’s physical appearance, treating a problem of excess hair sometimes due to hereditary causes or endocrine problem, and to reassure a person who has physical discomfort, and this, all the while, promoting a sense of physical and psychological well-being.

The hair removal specialist evaluates if the client is suitable for a hair removal treatment, informs them on the frequency necessary, the duration, expected results and offers advice. They also play the role of receptionist, sell products and services and perform daily management tasks as well as maintain their area and materials.
