SECTOR: WOODWORKING AND FURNITURE MAKING (05)

To enable the student to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform tasks such as preparing surfaces and applying stains and coatings to achieve the appropriate finish. They finish surfaces made of wood and wood-based products. They also mix colours, do touch-ups, polish, strip, and develop finishing systems. They use hand tools, electric and compressed air tools, automated systems and industrial robots.
