To enable the student to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to provide care for vulnerable individuals or those requiring assistance with activities of daily living. The skills acquired prepare the candidate to work as orderlies (préposés aux bénéficiaires) or health and social services assistants (auxiliaires aux services de santé et sociaux), with all types of clients and across all health and home care settings.
